Description

"Bended by Time" tells the story of nature’s patient, persistent power. Over millions of years, the Colorado River carved its way through rock to slowly sculpt the iconic Horseshoe Bend. This formation reminds us of the power of water and the passage of time.

The image was created during a roadtrip in January 2020 - shortly before the world was thrown into the chaos of lockdowns. I recall staying in this one spot for several hours to soak in the scene. As the sun set, it cast a warm glow over the canyon, and you could almost feel the history in these rocks. The river’s steadiness, slowly sculpted this lanscape we now know and love - but her job isn't finshed yet - it's a work in progress.

I created "Bended by Time" to capture the moment you truly appreciate the scale of time and the quiet, unyielding force of water. The convergence of these two forces creates something timeless and extraordinary.
