"Desert Road" was captured on a summer day in Peru, in July of 2022. It was my second trip to Peru and my first time in Paracas. My wife and I had started our day watching penguins by the coast—a fun and unexpected sight in a place so close to the desert. Later, we found ourselves driving through the vast emptiness of Paracas, eventually stopping along this beautifully desolate road.

The road seemed to go on forever. Its edges were marked by dried mud & tire tracks that disappeared into the horizon. Gazing down this unknown road, surrounded by sand you could imagine all the people who traveled this same path.

"Desert Road" is a piece of that adventure—a reminder of the open road its endless possibilities.
