Description

"Moonlit Pagoda" was taken during a winter trip to Japan in 2023. I had been meaning to capture this image for quite some time. I'd visited the pagoda on multiple occasions, yet the image I wanted hadn't materialized. This time, Yasaka Pagoda presented itself just as I’d imagined—glowing beneath soft moonlight, towering above desolate city streets with its timeless serenity.

This five-story pagoda has been standing tall in Kyoto's historic Higashiyama District since the 15th century. There’s something special about seeing an ancient structure still standing strong in a city that’s constantly changing. "Moonlit Pagoda" is a reminder that even in the midst of perpetual motion, some things remain beautifully constant.

Print Specifications

Your fine art photography is printed on metallic fine art paper to create stunning, gallery-quality prints. We use Lexjet Sunset Metallic paper, known for its exceptional depth and vibrant colors, ensuring that the print reflects the true beauty of the original scene.

Each print is reverse-mounted on high-quality clear 1/4" acrylic, enhancing vibrancy, color accuracy, and longevity—no fading here. The clear-cast acrylic brings out a 3-D or back-lit effect, especially when properly lit, as light refracts within the acrylic, creating remarkable brilliance. The diamond-polished edges add a sleek, see-through finish, and each print is backed with dibond for added protection and rigidity.

Our frameless acrylic face mount offers a modern, floating display that complements any wall. Each piece comes ready to hang with mounting hardware. Proudly printed in Seattle, WA, every artwork is crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
